ABOUT THE COMPANY
Michelle is a qualified business accountant, a general tax practitioner and business advisor. She holds her B-Tech degree in Cost and Management and is a registered Accounting Officer with the South African Institute of Business Accountants as well as the South African Institute of Taxation. She has twenty years’
experience in the financial industry.
She worked as senior fund accountant for Sanlam for eight years. Worked for Old Mutual and Metropolitan in a similar capacity. Also worked for Tigerbrands for 6 years at the various sites (Albany Bakery, Jungle Oats, Langeberg Koo) She is the 100% owner of JMA Enterprise. The business main focus is on governance, compliance and financial management of small businesses and Nonprofit organisations.
Michelle is also a minister and has a passion for God’s people. She loves working in the community and motivating people. She is also married and is a mother to one son.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

JMA Enterprise has been a dream of Michelle Mert for more than 20 years. Whilst assisting other small business owners and non-profit organisations achieving their goals, Michelle knew that it was time to start her own venture. Financial training and management was always one of her great passions and helping people thrive in their God given purpose. JMA was birthed out of a desire and passion to assist SMME’s to reach their goals through sharing financial knowledge in a practical way where its principles can be grasped at a level that it can be understood. The company has only been formally registered in November 2019 but the owner has worked on a part time basis with
SMME’s for years. The company is situated in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town and it serves different clientele from small and medium businesses such as general traders, marketing companies to sole proprietors such as educare and special needs centres. Our vision is to bring financial solutions to small business owners. Our slogan our
vision your solution speaks to this. Our mission is to walk alongside business owners, and assist in eliminating the day to day frustration of managing the administration of finances, so that they can concentrate on the operational side of the business.
JMA’s core function is providing guidance and training in terms of governance, compliance and financial management. The idea is to provide practical solutions in a simplistic way. We want to upskill, educate, train and mentor individuals who is open to personal
growth. Our focus is also to teach the younger generation to be more financially savvy and to avoid the debt trap.
